Please don't be a lemon

Does anyone like buying a used car? Brynn and I are still trying to sell the Jeep and have been looking for two other cars that are inexpensive, reliable, and get great gas mileage. We are realizing this is an almost impossible feat. We found a ‘97 Honda Accord with pretty low miles and I have been working out the details to get it bought. The guy we are buying it from seems really nice and honest but who knows what this car is really worth. He bought it from an insurance agency which usually gets cars that have been stolen or repossessed and so it has a “Salvaged Title.” We looked it up on Carfax and it has had only one other owner that has taken it in to the dealership to get serviced consistently every four months which sounds great. The car had some nasty scratches all down one side of the car like it had rubbed against a cement barrier and so this seller dude replaced the doors on one side. It looks good, I think the car is in good condition but I just hate saying yes and actually paying that much money for someone else’s car.

I'll let you know on Friday how this sale pans out.

Carol & Kim have had great luck lately on e bay. They have bought two cars for under 4500 that are less than two years old. Of coarse they had to go get them. You might want to ask Josh if your interested in this route on how to get in on the bidding game.

I looked on ebay. It is so hard to get a feel for what the car is really like without being able to actually look at it. I am afraid of buying expensive things on the interent.
