Sports Saturday

Father-in-law gave us more free tickets to the Utah State football game last Saturday. During the game the announcer came on over the PA informing everyone that after the game they would be turning off the lights and will have a fireworks show. I expect they were planning on waiting until those who wanted to leave could, and would then proceed to turn off the lights and have this fireworks display. Immediately after the Aggies’ stunning win over Fresno no time was spared and no lights were turned off. The fireworks were going almost immediately. It was like a grand finale on July 4th and you would have thought that the super bowl had just ended. Everyone was rushing the field and players were jumping around. It was one of the most exciting displays of emotion I have ever seen at a sporting event, without Janet and Justin. Congratulations to the Utah State football team! Just when I thought their season was doomed they pulled out a win, not a big win but a win nonetheless.
Oh yeah and how about those Cougars.
