The Beastie Boys are a hip hop group from the New York City boroughs of Brooklyn and Manhattan. They were first formed in 1979 as a punk band called The Young Aborigines. Later they changed their name to the Beastie Boys. The name "Beastie" originally stood for "Boys Entering Anarchistic States Towards Internal Excellence." They were the first white rap group of any importance and one of the few acts from the early days of hip hop that still enjoy major success today. Their rock and punk-influenced rap has had a significant impact on artists both in and outside the hip hop community. The Beastie Boys success has made them the 2nd highest selling Hip Hop artists behind 2Pac. There you have it. The songs I tried to hint about were "Intergalactic," "Brass Monkey," and "Girls." the only way that this band could get any better is if mike d. (diamond) was related to neil plus it would only make sense that the progeny of the performer of "we're coming to america" would perform "intergalactic." just trying to one-up the old man.
