Crazy Horses
We have discovered that there are some weird happenings at night among the animal population of Grand Turk. Earlier this week in the middle of the night we were awakened by the very loud sound of a cow mooing. Nate and I were both completely startled to say the least. We ran to the window to see what was going on and a lonely cow meandered by heading toward the beach. We laid back down to go back to sleep when we heard the forlorn sound again! The cow slowly walked back past us and continued down the road. We could hear it off in the distance making some kind of mating sound! We lauged and went to sleep. Again we were awakened last night by the sound of neighing and the clip clop of hooves on the pavement. We ran to the window again and found out that two horses were just trotting by. Not only did they trot by once but five times! They would walk past our house, turn around and walk by again, five times! I don't have a clue what they were doing but luckily they eventually kept on walking away from us! Those crazy animals!
