Brynn’s father has become somewhat of an idol in Logan Town. He has taken up the rank of Logan School District Superintendent and by so doing has gained several perks. One of these perks is that he gets to meet with famous people on a regular basis. Some of you lesser folk may have heard of some of these celebrities which include but are not limited to, Stan Albrecht President of Utah State University, Governor Jon Huntsman, and more recently the Northern President of Wells Fargo. This Wells Fargo guy gave Marshal some tickets to the Utah State v Utah game. Brynn and I were able to go with him to this “battle of brothers” and what a matchup this game turned out to be. With the recent loss of Tony Bologna Pennyman the Aggies were able to put up a great fight and lose by only 48 points. The stunning Aggie line was able to give quarterback Leon Jackson III at least .7 seconds every play to get a good look at his covered receivers and make consistent great plays for over 20 yards, albeit for the team in red. I don’t think Utah has a chance to be competitive in the Mountain West this year but they sure looked great against the Agricultural College of Northern Utah. Go Aggies!
On a lighter note BYU is good. I would like some feedback on this but I think they should be ranked about 29 in the country. They put up a great fight at Arizona and then took it to B.C. for most of game. Unable to capitalize on a few big plays cost them the game this last Saturday but I think they are doing well and are finally a force to be reckoned with once again.
Lastly or thirdly, whichever you prefer, who do you think is going to win the National Title this year? Will it be my beloved video game Buckeyes, or can USC make a comeback and take the #1 spot?

West Virginia. It is totally a Mountaineer Year.
First of all, I think you ranked BYU way too high. Sure they played tough, but they didn't win. Either the team doesn't have the talent or the will power to win close games. Until they get either of those, they need to be ranked lower. Also, it's not like the teams that they played were powerhouse schools. Arizona is a perennial PAC-10 bottom-feeder and Boston College can never live up to the expectations placed on them even though they play in the Big East(a small step up from the MWC).
As for the national championship, I am going with Michigan over USC. Michigan looked tough and if Michael Hart stays healthy, they are tough to beat. USC to make it to the game because they have talent and don't play too many hard teams. But, I really have no idea. So many things could happen.
I'm going to have to go to college and get a phd so I can keep up with your posts. My only comment is "It doesn't matter where you've come from, but where you are going." When I find myself struggling whether to attend R.Society conferance or watch the Ute's. I know my blood runs RED! I'm finally understanding the game and my Saturday is now filled with Chicken Wings and Popcorn. Is there going to be a game worth watching anytime soon. . . Blowouts are leaving me empty inside! RANKING FLANKING it's about who gets the SPANKING!
Congratulate Marshall on all his new found fame!
I guess only time will tell how good BYU really is and that time is going to be Thursday against TCU.
